Ultrasonic testing (UT) using phased array (PA) is becoming increasingly important not only for automated testing but also for manual testing.
Reasons for this include improved defect detection capabilities, enhanced documentation of test results, and time savings during testing and evaluation.
However, working with PA testing technology requires specialized knowledge of the underlying physical principles, complex testing systems, and the specific procedures involved in this type of testing. Our course is aimed at experienced Level 2 and Level 3 UT inspectors as well as testing supervisors who wish to learn PA testing technology.
Participation requires UT2 certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712.
The course uses GEKKO and MANTIS testing equipment.
