ADR – Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, Class 7
In non-destructive testing, gamma-ray equipment is used for portable radiographic testing. Drivers transporting Class 7 radioactive substances to the work site require an ADR certificate.
ECM 2 – W.S. Customer Day
On 13 and 14 October 2026, W.S. Werkstoff Service GmbH invites you to its ECM Customer Day at the Zollverein site in Essen.
ET1 – Eddy Current Testing Level 1
A 10-day ET Level 1 course covering eddy current testing fundamentals, equipment operation and practical defect detection, coating thickness and conductivity measurement.

ET1 AE/RE – Renewal of Eddy Current Testing Level 1
Refresher training and examination five years after initial certification or recertification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712.

ET1 R – Recertification in Eddy Current Testing Level 1
Refresher training and the examination take place ten years after initial certification or recertification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712.

ET2 – Eddy Current Testing Level 2
Develop a deeper understanding of magnetism and electricity, select ET testing equipment and probes, assess and evaluate test results, and prepare ET testing instructions.

The course covers the fundamentals of annealing, hardening, tempering, and quenching and tempering.

GSA – Basics of Damage Analysis
The procedure for damage analysis is taught in theory and practice – from initial documentation and hypotheses through to the report.
