CAD-assisted waterjet cutting

W.S. sample machining – waterjet cutter 1

Precision waterjet cutting for complex contours

Waterjet cutting cuts material using a jet of water generated at pressures of up to 6,000 bar. The material is not heated in the process. For materials testing technicians, waterjet cutting is an important specimen preparation method, for example for metallographic sections or ceramic samples.

Are you looking for a partner to produce complex contours quickly and flexibly? Do you want to cut materials that are challenging to manufacture, such as composites, ceramics or ductile metals? Our sample workshop team supports you with a modern waterjet cutting system.

Our workshop offers the following waterjet cutting services:

We have also summarised all the benefits of waterjet cutting in a short video, using DIN tensile test samples for testing laboratories as an example.

Ideal for printing, saving or sharing: you can find a written summary of all the benefits, together with contacts and practical information on waterjet cutting, in this PDF.
