• Hardness tests with all “typical” hardness testing methods – in the laboratory and on site
• Measurement of hardness profiles and determination of hardness depths (nitriding depth, case hardening depth …)
• Examination of toughness with the impact test (Charpy impact test) (up to -196°C)
• Residual stress measurements with DMS
• Quench tests (Jominy test)
